March is one of those in between months, quieter than summer but bursting with local celebrations, fresh air adventures, and the first proper excuse to sit outside with a coffee again.

5th March 2026
St Piran’s day
Where- Many communities, including Bodmin, Falmouth, Penzance & St Ives host processions, performances and local festivities.
Cornwall’s National day honours St Piran, the Patron saint of Tin miners, and is celebrated right across the County.
Expect parades, music, dancing, and a sea of black & white flags as town’s come together in true Cornish spirit.

Wadebridge Festival of Music & Speech
Where- Town Hall Wadebridge
A Long standing celebration of performing art's, this festival brings together musicians, speakers & performers for a week of showcases and competitions.

Falmouth spring flower show
Where- Princess Pavilions, Falmouth
A spectacular (and free) celebration of Spring, featuring dazzling floral displays, photography & artwork to inspire gardens of every level.

Cornwall Garden Society Spring Flower Show
Where- Royal Cornwall events centre Wadebridge
Often described as “Chelsea of the South West” this prestigious event attracts RHS judges, specialist nurseries and major growers.
Browse dramatic displays, shop horticultural treasures & gather ideas for your own garden, whether you have acres of land or a single sunny windowsill.

Tate St Ives- A Year round classic
Overlooking Porthmeor beach, Tate St Ives exhibits modern British artists connected to the area and is one of the UK’s most visited galleries.
Even when there isn’t a major event, it’s always worth a wander. Pair it with a coffee and a sea view for a very Cornish Day out!
